What is Language Stay?
Language Stay is an independent language school located in Toulouse,
France run by a multi-lingual, multi-cultural American. At Language Stay we
believe that the only true way to learn a new language is through living in it!
Our intensive weekend courses combine traditional classroom learning with natural
conversation and adventures designed to reinforce your language skills.
What if I have very specific
goals?
Living a language means learning what is important to you. Before your
arrival you will complete a spoken interview and a written document to help us
create a class that will make learning English relevant to your personal needs.
Part of your course also takes place in a classroom where you can concentrate
on improving your grammar, writing and your listening skills. We pride
ourselves on being open, flexible and understanding.
When/Which languages do you
offer?
For the moment we offer intensive English, Spanish and French courses
upon reservation and at your convenience! Courses are typically 15h long and
are offered for 3 days, but depending on your schedule a 4 day course can also
be arranged.
What background do you and your
associate have?
I am an American that has been living in French speaking countries
since 2004. I have been studying French for over 15 years and have a French
degree in Foreign Languages and Business. I have been teaching English for 5
years. I am currently the head teacher at one of three language suppliers for
the Capgemini Group and give lessons in Business English, General English and
TOIEC preparation. I have also worked in the French school system and have
worked with children from 7-18.
My associate is a native Spanish speaker who also has extensive
teaching knowledge. He currently gives Spanish and French lessons for the
language supplier of the Capgemini Group and has also worked in language
immersion camps throughout France.
Where do I stay while I'm taking classes?
You are free to choose your accomodation but we do offer a reasonably priced homestay upon request where you have your own room, meals and are just a quick metro ride to downtown Toulouse.
